A series of three classical Indian music concerts organized as a homage to Pandit Subhankar Banerjee on his 60th birth anniversary. The events feature renowned artists performing flute, vocal, tabla, sitar, kathak dance, and other classical Indian art forms across three venues in Kolkata.
Kajalrekha Musical Foundation (KMF) is a Kolkata-based non-profit organization established in 1998 by the late tabla maestro Pandit Subhankar Banerjee in memory of his mother, Late Smt. Kajalrekha Banerjee. The foundation is dedicated to supporting specially abled and underprivileged musicians by providing financial assistance, scholarships, and health insurance. It also organizes annual Indian classical music concerts, youth music festivals, workshops, seminars, and educational collaborations to promote Hindustani classical music and nurture emerging artists.
