The Dover Lane Music Conference

Founded on a sudden impulse in 1952 by a small group of music lovers in South Kolkata, this voluntary non-profit has evolved into India's premier annual musical congregation. Held every January at the massive Nazrul Mancha auditorium, its legendary 4-night-long, dusk-to-dawn concerts gather world-renowned Hindustani and Carnatic maestros along with global patrons. The organization also runs a dedicated Talent Search Contest and a permanent Music Academy
